Day 1 from Puchong to KLIA to Denpasar

Well for this trip, we didn't fell much excited and thrill. Entah la...i dunno...maybe we are all very buzy....hubby is not very comfortable going for vacation cause he have a pile of work to do. We used to plan what to bring, to wear a few days before the trip...

However, for this trip we only managed to start packing our stuff on the day itself. Luckily our flight is 4.50pm...we still have an ample time to get prepared. That day, we woke up very early....hubby was rushed to the office to settle his work and email a few things...

Around 10am I received a phone call from my cousin - Ina aka amoi. She mentioned that her son - danish has been effected by chicken pox.... Ohhh my god....! That's is only a few hours before our flight...! I was speechless.....She said that she will bring danish for check up....and see what is the result....maybe she will cansel the trip...

I called hubby and explain danish's condition......He was shocked. He said that maybe we need to called off our trip too.....since this is our first timer travelling oversea.....we don't have that much knowledge and experience...

Around 11pm, Ina called again..............and, and, and....the trip is ON...however, she have to left danish behind cause the poor boy is confirmed having chicken pop...but still in early stages...Hmm...poor danish. He will be taken care by his atok and wan

So there we are 4 of us - me and Hubby, Ina and saffry heading to Bali.

Bali Trip 2006

We went there on 26th feb until 3rd march 2006 - a 5 days 4 night trip. It was great...!!

What so great about bali...? What I can say is the warm and friendliness of balinese people....yesss, there were so great.

Well we went there as a back packers ( but without the bag pack ).....ihiihihihihh. We didn't make any bookings for the hotel. We just search through the internet for all information about bali. The rest was easy....Just asked the bali people, where is the best and cheaper place to stay, eat and shopping. And again, you should know how to bargain for better price.

4 nights at bali, we stayed at 3 different hotel - at kuta, ubud and legian. We stayed at budget hotel - roughly around RM90 - RM120 per night. Cheap huh..?? Yes...Ok laaaa, not that bad - fully equipped with TV ( Satellite channel ), water heater, air-con.....ok maaaaa. Really saves us a lot...

For food.....it's not that hard to search for halal food - one of them is Nasi Padang. But guysss...be careful....there a lot of babi guling stall to0....ehehehee. Well what is Nasi Padang...? Nasi Padang is a plain rice served with many kind of dishes including chicken and fish ( with different style of cooking - goreng, sambal, lemak and gulai). They even serve this sambal cili hijau and a few choices of vegetable. They even have tempe and daging dede. Well what is my favourite dishes..?? Of couse - daging dede, kuah lemak and sambal cili hijau.....yummmyyyy.....I can eat them everyday....seriously..mmg sedaaaapppppppp gilerrrrr. Well I also addicted to drink - Teh Sosro. It is actually a plain tea ( teh o) but it tasted like chinese tea...but this one it is sweeter..... and i like it very muchhh...... ( ohhh while i'm writing this, im craving for Nasi Padang and Teh Sosro too mucchhhh..! )

Shopping - it is crazieeee i tell you. The best placed to shop is in Pasar Sukarwati ( on the way to Ubud ). Here at Sukarwati you can find a lot of interesting handwork including panting, wood carving, rattan, decoration items, beads necklace, batik etc....... And the price is verrrryy cheap and cheap....

But above all exciment, since the 2nd bombing last year....the number of tourist coming to Bali has reduced rapidly. And this has very much effected Bali's economy..since tourism is the major contribution to the country. You can see....at the town, beach, shopping places, cafes, tourist spot..it is not as crowded as before..... it was empty. They lived in terrified, they lost their love ones....but still they were angry with Dr Azahari. They even asked us do we know Dr. Azahari....luckily they are not angry at us - malaysian

Afraid...?? Sometimes we felt afraid too.....for any possibilities for 3rd bombing. But we try to avoid places like too many american / australian tourist...especially while walking in front of the cafe's in town. But the local authorist have taken as many precaution as they could. If you are entering a shopping complexes, you will be checked and scanned...including your bags. Entering one of the exclusive resort area mostly in Nusa Dua....they even checked your vehicle - inside and outside

Well enough of the long intro. I will update on our daily trip......insyaallah soon.
